OVERVIEW:
For our distribution center in Dordrecht we are looking for an Export Manager. The responsibilities of this position focus on export and logistic related activities. In this role you will be managing the export department, customer specific projects coming through this facility and help with different documentation and reports.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to the following:
- Responsible for the export department
- Supervise distribution projects which bring value to our customers
- Prepare export documentation for customs
- Creating reports and analyzing logistics data
- Responsible for analyzing and maintaining the costs of goods of the DC
- Work closely with multiple departments such as trade compliance & supply chain
REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
The following skills and qualifications are required for this position:
- A HBO (Bachelor) or MBO+ (secondary vocational) education
- 2 years of experience in leading a team
- Experience in a logistics environment
- Demonstrate strong math aptitude, attention to detail and sense of urgency
- Strong communication skills (in English) and customer service oriented
- Demonstrate strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities
- Exhibit strong problem solving, deductive reasoning and decision-making skills
- Demonstrate our core values of ambition, innovation, integrity and teamwork
- Ability to lift, slide, carry and lower packages on a regular basis
