OVERVIEW
Working as Full-time Health, Safety, Environmental & Sustainability Support, you will support the day-to-day operations of the Environmental, Health, Safety & Sustainability at the Brno, Czechia Manufacturing site as well as supporting branches and compliance with European Environmental and Sustainability Legislation. You will assist in researching and administering governmental regulations, performing general paperwork such as data entry and filing, assisting with administrative reporting, conducting trainings and monitoring related functions within the regions. You will provide guidance to ensure operations are completed correctly.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to the following:
- Ensuring compliance with health, safety, environmental and sustainability legislation
- Conducting health, safety and environmental audits, inspections, and trainings as needed
- Assisting Manufacturing and District Managers with the tools to help all personnel complete any requirements
- Assisting manufacturing and branch employees with related compliance
- Communicating with employees, branches and manufacturing on Environmental, Health, Safety & Sustainability Topics
- Performing duties such as data entry, analytics, running reports related to environmental, health and safety, sustainability and security
- Supporting, facilitating, communicating, and resolving program related requirements related to environmental, health & safety, sustainability, ISO 14001 & 45001 management systems, ESG topics
- Assist with European environmental compliance such as CBAM; EUDR and support with Environmental disclosures such as CDP
- Supporting inspections, investigations, permitting requirements, auditing requirements as need on related topics
REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
The following skills and qualifications are required for this position:
- Prior health and safety experience OR industry experience
- Demonstrate knowledge of occupational safety and general industry regulations and standards
- Demonstrate strong organisation, planning and prioritising abilities
- Learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
- Willingness to travel while working a flexible schedule
- Demonstrate our core values of ambition, innovation, integrity and teamwork
- 18 years of age or older, due to the nature of work
- Possess a current full valid driver's license issued in Czechia as well as the ability to meet our driving record requirements to use a company vehicle, as needed
- Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite
- Proficient written and oral communication skills in Czech and English
- Highly motivated, self directed and customer service oriented
PREFERRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
- Prior health and safety experience in a Manufacturing facility
- Nebosh Certificate or willingness to achieve this qualification
- Knowledge of Sustainability legislation
- Safety Professional "OZO” and registered with the MPSV
